I have spent the last three days re- upholstering a sofa bed. In the present heatwave probably not the best choice of occupation. It's been very much Think - do a bit - rest - think some more- drink tea - do a bit more....Hence three days so far. In cooler weather I might have finished by now. The garden has produced flowers, cinnebar moth catterpillars, crickets, grasshoppers,butterflies (mostly spotted woods) a hedgehog by my backdoor, loads of dragon flies, bats , french beans and there are some late runner beans on the way.

other than that life is mostly shite so I'll shut up.
