2008 DCU Free For All Winter Holiday Challenge
Wow, the seasons seem to be turning faster and faster now! Since the Autumn Challenge has wrapped up, it's time to start the Winter Holiday Challenge! ^_^
The rules and are the same this time around as for all the previous community challenges:
Anyone who wants to participate is welcome, regardless of whether you have a primary challenge claim for the community. Though if you *do* have a claim, I encourage you to include your submission(s) toward your challenge. All pairings/characters, ratings, and genres are welcome. The challenge is this: Write fic of at least 100 words (or make graphics) for one or two of the following prompts from the Free For All prompt tables:

This is a lot of prompts to choose from, and I'm not even done yet! Since this is a season of love and hope and light, you may also use any prompt from Prompt Table #11 (the FLUFF table, in Prompt Tables - Part 2). ^_^
When you post, the same rules apply as for regular challenge posts. Tag with "fic" or "art" or both, and use the challenge tag: community challenge: winter.
The challenge runs until midnight, EST, on Saturday, January 10th (2009), and anyone who participates will get a nifty banner. This is a longer run time than most winter holiday challenges go, but it's all in the spirit of the Free For All. ^_~ I hope many of you can participate this go-round, especially since I'm eager to see what you'll all do with the prompts. :p
Don't forget - you can always multitask your fic with other challenges! If you participate here, why not also participate in bradygirl_12's 2008 DCU Fic/Art Family Winter Holidays Challenge or the World's Finest Gift Exchange and get double credit? Also, like all DCU Free For All community challenges, all DC universes are welcome!! I'm sure there will be plenty of movieverse and Smallville holiday challenges out there that you'll be able to cross-participate in. ^_~
