The 2012 DCU Free For All Winter Holidays Challenge is here!
Sneaking in a little early this year, it's time for the 2012 DCU Free For All Winter Holidays Challenge!
The rules are the same this time around as for all previous community challenges:
Anyone who wants to participate is welcome, regardless of whether you have a primary challenge claim for the community. Though if you *do* have a claim, I encourage you to include your submission(s) toward your challenge. All 'verses, pairings/characters, ratings, and genres are welcome. The challenge this round is this: Write fic of at least 100 words (or make graphics or some other fanwork) for up to three of the following prompts (from the DCU Free For All prompts tables and from previous special prompts lists):

2. Mistletoe
3. Twinkling Lights/Star/Sparkle
4. Egg-Nog/Hot Cocoa
5. New Year's Eve/Resolutions
6. Champagne
7. Feast
8. Family/Home/Shelter/Hearth
9. Christmas Tree/Ornaments/Garland
10. Santa Claus/Sleigh/Reindeer
11. Candy Canes/Cookies
12. Carols
13. Candles/Menorah
14. Snow/Ice/Frost
15. Bundled Up
16. Gifts/Wrapping Paper
17. Miracles/Magic
18. Scrooge/Grinch
19. Holidays at the Beach
20. Crystals/Glitter
21. Silver/Magic Kryptonite
22. Arctic/Fortress of Solitude
23. Enchanted
24. Winter Solstice
25. Wings
26. Travel
This year's challenge includes a few more prompts than the usual set, and will go on a bit longer, running until 11:59 PM EST on Saturday, January 12th (2013). All who participate will, of course, get a shiny banner. :)
Remember to tag your entry with fic or art or both, depending, and use the community challenge: winter 2012 tag when you post.
