2012 DCU Fic/Art Silver Bells Winter Holidays Challenge
Okay, disclaimer: the bells don’t have to be silver! They can be bronze, copper, etc. But ‘Silver Bells’ sounded nice in the title! ;)
So, now that the first snow has come and the clear peal of children playing in the snow can be heard, what’s up for the latest BradyGirl_12 Challenge?

All fanworks accepted: stories, art, icons, manips, wallpapers, story covers, vids, and fanmixes.
The requirements for this Challenge? Your creative work must focus on or use a winter holiday as a backdrop. And ‘Bells’ is the theme to go along with it!
‘Bells’ can be the focus of your fanwork or used as background.
Prompts for your perusal:
Belle of the Ball
Bells (Gold, copper, brass, etc.) Ornaments
Church Bells
For Whom The Bell Tolls
Jingle Bells (Actual bells, ornaments, song)
The Liberty Bell (and if you want to use the JSA heroine, Liberty Belle, go for it!)
Silver Bells (Actual bells, ornaments, song)
Sleigh Bells (Actual bells, ornaments, song)
“When a bell rings, an angel gets his wings.” Here’s your chance to cross-Challenge with the 2012 DCU Fic/Art Angels Challenge. ;)
‘Holiday setting’ can include Thanksgiving dinner, decorating the Christmas tree, a Yule ritual, New Year’s ball, etc. There are so many things that can be done with the holidays! Hey, if you want to have your characters sitting around complaining about writing out Christmas cards, go ahead! ;)
Any holiday celebrated during winter from any culture or tradition is welcome. And since this is the DCU, if you want to create Kryptonian, Martian, or Amazonian holidays (or more!), go for it! Imagination has no limits! :)
Okay, the usual suspects:
Genre: Any! Humor, romance, hurt/comfort, drama, etc. You know the drill! J
Pairings (or threesomes, etc. ;) ): Slash, femslash, het, gen. The term ‘DCU’ includes not only comicsverse but movie-TV-and-toonverses, so that means Nolanverse, Smallville, Timmverse, etc.
Rating: G all the way through to NC-17. For stories, any length from drabbles to epics! :)
Posting dates: November 14, 2012-January 1, 2013*
Cross-challenging welcome, so if you can fit your work into more than one Challenge, go for it!
Crossovers welcome, as long as DC characters get equal ‘screen time’.
