He'd ordered something that he thought she would like, something simple. Steak and potatoes, salad, tea. He'd ordered enough for three, just in case, but it was almost 1900 and Kirk wasn't here. Jo buzzed in, juggling the cookies she'd made in the galley and the padd with the pictures on it. She wondered who all would be there and kind of wished she had civvies to wear so this didn't feel quite so formal a review.

Bones grinned as she walked in.

"Hello there," he called out, reaching out to pick the padds and plate from her arms. "Glad to see you, sweetheart," he added, giving her a small kiss on the forehead.

"Good to see you too. Homemade chocolate chip with nuts cookies for my favorite nut," Jo said teasingly. "It smells delicious." Once freed of her burdens, she hugged Bones lightly. "So the Captain's quarters..."
