Hell. That couldn't possibly be a good sign. And with everything that was going on in her head... The weirdness with Nyota, the away mission, Jim... She wasn't sure if she was going to have the fortitude to deal with one of the centers of her very confused emotions, even if all he wanted was to chat.

But it wasn't like she had a choice.

She sat down, shifting around a little until she could find a position that didn't pull on her stitches, and looked up at him, waiting.
