Dinner party
As cozy as it had been camping out in his old CMO quarters with Jim, they were both looking forward to moving back to Jim's rooms. The added bonus of the renovations, the extra room and the larger bathroom and living area were the icing on the cake.
The next logical progression was to invite some friends over to see the rooms. He'd been planning with dinner with Paula and Hikaru for months it seemed, and now with the baby's room being finished, it seemed like the right time. He'd spoken with the galley about getting some specially made dinner trays sent over, and he'd cajoled Spock's brother into making a special chocolate cake for the occasion.
He and Jim had taken a quick shower after work, getting rid of that sterile medical scent that lingered on him (and getting in a little touching before guests arrived). Going through his closet, Leonard found a nice button~down shirt and jeans. He didn't want this to be dinner with the Captain and CMO. This was four friends talking and spending good times together, relaxed and comfortable. "I'm glad I've got tomorrow off."
