When the heroes shimmer back into place, they're in a warehouse, very similar in the interior to the one that they left. However, rather than VP Pierce, President Ross is standing there, along with Director Bones. Merlynne is also standing on the other side of the rooms.
Ross looks like he's making a headcount. Then he smiles. "Welcome back

The human places his hands on his chest briefly, the euphoric post-adrenaline rush of a near death experience overcoming him. His green eyes find Corrine, and a smile forms from ear to ear. He's relieved to see her, as it stands to reason that the mystic who cast the spell can reverse her own works. "You're a sight for sore eyes, love."
The demon, on the other hand, is somewhat down. The exhilaration of the mission is now over, and the only thing on the demon's mind, oddly enough, is a hardy meal. But knowing that formalities lay between him and his bounty, the demon Caleb makes eye contact with President Ross. "Mr. President," he sing-songs, blipping to beside the man. "I do believe you owe us all written pardons."

Bones snaps open a suitcase and pulls out paperwork...one each for Sand, Caleb, Trevor, Chimp, Hank, and Tara. "This one's for the Caleb I recognize." Bones says nonchalantly. "The citizenship issue is currently being ramrodded through the senate. House passed it two weeks ago, Senate's meeting on it tomorrow, but we should be able to have you in for your vows by early next week."
He then smiles...a feat for a skeleton. "I'm actually impressed. The fact that you got the Mother out was good, but that screwjob you put on Wilson...Fuentes is a complete idiot for falling for that one, but it looks like you managed to get the Society out of Costa Linda in the process."
