When the heroes shimmer back into place, they're in a warehouse, very similar in the interior to the one that they left.  However, rather than VP Pierce, President Ross is standing there, along with Director Bones.   Merlynne is also standing on the other side of the rooms.

Ross looks like he's making a headcount.   Then he smiles.  "Welcome back."
