"Call whatever backup is in the system, we need..." Travis is responding by the time anyone can get a word off, his brain kicking into high gear at the appearance of the threat. Then the starfields appear, and his tone abruptly changes. "I'll hold them off of Mogo as long as I can." he insists, before taking off to meet them in open space.
"I CALCULATE THAT THERE ARE ONE HUNDRED LIFE FORMS WITHIN ONE MINUTE OF THE SURFACE," Stel tells the Green Man. "AND APPROXIMATELY TEN TIMES THAT SHORTLY BEHIND THAT."
Borialosaurus is the last of his people. The others died by the hands of the Green Lanterns' precious Guardians. Murderers, revered for their genocide. Their holy crusade.
He turns to face the green armada. A shoal of yellow, flesh-eating fish creatures spit angrily from his ring.
"Child, I have been putting down greater warriors than you since time began," Boralosaurus squawks as the shoal parts around him. It swirls back against Arisia, a two-pronged attack this time.
An unfortunate rookie hits the yellow bastion without support. Caught alone amid the fray, he is beset upon by a mammoth Tristram Power-Ray.
Flayt latches to the rookie, sucking hungrily on his forcefield. With every gulp, his own energy field seems to grow, as if he were feeding off the green energy that powers the rookie's ring itself.
A Green Lantern would do well to steer clear of this man's jaws. The power ring of a Sinestro Lantern would be enough of a destructive temptation, but Schlagg-Man has grown accustomed to the Bismollian steel dentures that will happily chomp through armoured doors.
Ion selects this one - a large target, to be sure, to be the first to fall before him. Targeting his field, he tries to overwhelm the Corpsman's force field before targeting his jaw, seeking to snap it.
"Your savagery is no match for the Lanterns. Surrender."
