...apparently defeated. The mysterious woman who vanished with Nekron has not been identified, and the heroes shown here with temporarily white costumes have returned to their previous appearances. There are no details as yet as to what caused this change of costuming. We'll have a report on that a bit later ( Read more... )

Diana had been trying to decide where to go. Then she sees that and her heart sinks.

Was Donna there, in the end? She does not know. But she has to go home. She can't decide where home is. Her feelings are confused and muddled right now. She does know she has to find John eventually.

And more than anything she is hurt by the loss of the Titans. If Cassie has died then the Fates truly are cruel.

First she must confirm if Cassie is alive or dead. Then she will go find John. That is what Diana decides.

Who says she calls the shots all the time? A green light floats outside her window on the Watchtower and, seeing her available, she phases into the room without a word. His weary expression and the hands he slowly places on her bare shoulder say everything he needs to say - save one thing.

She hadn't been quite ready to go find him. She wanted to but.... she had faltered for a moment.

Now he was here. She touched his hand with one of hers and found that she could not stop smiling at him now that he was here. She was glad he had survived the night.

"I love you, Diana," he states simply. It's always been true, but her senses can pick on the truth of it more clearly than ever before, like a single light in a sealed dark room.

"Now, as soon as you're ready," he says, not letting go. "Tell me what it is we need to go do before you rest."

Travis listens to the media, exhausted, emotionally, mentally and physically. He turns off the TV, and waits for Tara in silence ( ... )

After all the fight was done, she did her best, one more time, to help John back from the red, and then said goodbye.

He had to find his own way. If he ever wants to talk, he knows where to find her - cause they get each other. But he has a long road ahead of him, while she has to go back to where her road started.

She realizes the Blackest Night barely touched her - because she never let anyone get close. She was tough enough to handle anything. The job and the city became everything.

And now that she has nothing to fear from Crane, she has to go back, to find meaning again.

Batman knew she was going to be there, she checked with the person she had to. She leaves a message for Jim and Renee, letting her know how to reach her. Then she finds a crappy little apartment that'll do for now, and gets settled in.

Back in Gotham, back where she started, yet starting over. Romy is home.

Slade walked into one of his safe-houses, carefully removing each of his weapons and placing them in various racks or cases. That done, he quickly made himself a cup of coffee, black, and sat down in a comfortable chair. He turned on the T.V., wondering how everything had turned out. As he watched the news, his eye narrowed. The Titans went through the ringer. He had a grudging respect for many of them, and was almost sorry to see some of them go. Almost.

There was one thing he really cared about regarding the Titans. Was Joey still alive? Slade had already lost one son thanks to the Titans. If he lost his other ... they might be getting a visit.
