Eidolon had been all energy and enthusiasm, especially when that Blue Lantern ring had helped him save Batman. Then he passed out on the way back to Gotham. Injury and plain old fatigue finally knocking him out.

Of course, once he woke up and had finished getting fussed over by Alfred, Eddie was getting right back into his costume. They were all supposed to get back to the cave according to the signal in his cowl after all.

Jogging back into the main cave, Eidolon moved to stand by the computer with a small smile. "R-r-reporting in, s-sir."

Reaching out, Batman simply clasped a hand over Eidolon's and gave him a squeeze. He really didn't have a whole lot to say. He was frayed and worn to a nub, and the nightmare wasn't even over.

In a soft voice, he said "He almost killed me. Nightwing. He's gone for good now, I hope."

Eidolon was surprised by the gesture but ended up smiling just a little wider because of it. Just that little gesture had him energized and ready to go face whatever new nightmare was coming.

"B-but he didn't. Y-you beat him," Eddie replied. "And it wasn't Nightwing. N-n-none of them were who they kept s-saying they were. Just a bunch of fakers."

Shaking his head, Bruce didn't agree with Eidolon. "Batwoman saved me." he then said simply. "Otherwise, I'd not be here right now." Sitting back as he steepled his fingers and scowled at the computer screen. "They may have been a bunch of fakers, but they were still horrific monsters. It doesn't remove the horror of seeing their faces even when I intellectually understand that those monsters weren't the ones we loved."

After a quick, 'I'm alive' check-in, he took his time coming here. There were things he had to do to steel himself. He had spent some of the day with his family, making sure they were secure and he had spent some of it by Stephanie's grave, regretting yet another fight. On route here he had been delayed by a family's broken down car. He hopes Batman will understand this time. He doesn't have it in him to fight or even take one of those taskmaster glares right now ( ... )

Kathy nods quietly. Robin lost a lot of friends out there, just like Bruce did. She didn't know any of them... other than Nightwing, in passing... but she knew of the Titans, and knew they were heroes.

Tim's distance and aloofness only causes Bruce to frown deeply. It's a stab to his heart at a time like this, especially when Tim has been nothing but distant in the recent past. Whatever might be driving the young man to this action, Bruce can't say. Too much has been going on in his own life for him to even come close to guessing Tim's issue beyond the obvious.

"I was in Coast City." Bruce then says to Tim, his voice low. "I was deputized by a red ring of Rage, and I helped create a lot of that warzone with my own hands and blood. I would have died if it wasn't for Eddie Hoping me back from the brink of death. What other situation could there be, other than the Blackest Night that has just past?"

Tim's voice and hearing his own name snap Eddie out of his depressed collapse. Getting up slowly, he swallows. "It's the T-t-t-t-t-t-t-titans, s-s-sir," he replies to Batman. Slowly, Eddie starts walking over towards Robin. "They were fighting in Clearwater...it l-l-looked like Trigon as a Black Lantern. There was an explosion...and...and..." he trails off, unable to say it. Instead he just tries to give Tim a hug.

It had been only a few scant hours since Stephanie Brown had been resurrected, thanks to the events of the Blackest Night. She hasn't returned home yet - she doesn't really know how to face Crystal Brown. Instead, she visited an old hideout - a broom closet, really - where she'd hidden an extra Spoiler costume. All cleaned up in a public bathroom, she'd slipped on the costume and checked her comm, only to find that Batman was calling everyone to the Batcave.

She'd thought long and hard before making the difficult decision to go there. She wasn't sure where she stood with everyone there - how they felt about her, how things had changed since she'd died.

Still, here she was, outside the Batcave, clinging to the shadows. She sucked in a deep breath. This? This was easier than seeing her mother. She still needed a lot of personal strength for that.

Here we go, she silently said to herself, before letting herself in.

Holding back as she was from the conversation with Tim, Kathy notices the newcomer immediately. She pulls her mask back on instantly, and spins into a defensive posture.

"Incoming," Batwoman warns the others in the clan. She has no idea who this stranger is.

She descends deeper into the cave, only to find a woman in gray and red looking right at her, standing in a defensive posture. Spoiler steps into a small pool of light and pauses, watching as all eyes start to swivel to her.

She holds up her hand and waves a little weakly. "Uh. Spoiler Alert?"

Cass whirled around at the sound of Spoiler's voice.

Impossible. Not - she looks - she can't. She's dead. She died.

But...there.

She ran to hug her friend.

Huntress is /not/ pleased. After all that happened, so much loss, the city is in chaos. She needs to be out there.

But if everyone is being called in, then this is important. Besides, if she wants to make sure she gets all possible information on what they're going to do for Barbara.

Huntress stalks into the Batcave, then waits quietly, out of the way, for everyone else to finish their discussions.

Eddie tenses as Kathy warns them of an intruder, starting to put on his mask again. He stops and his jaw drops when he sees who it is though. Eyes wide, he clamps a hand over his mouth a moment before his arms drop to his sides. When Bruce and Cass rush over, Eddie glances to Tim and then to Kathy.

"It's okay, Batwoman...that's...Spoiler..." he trails off, a smile forming on his face. "Oh w-w-w-wow," he runs a hand through his hair and glances around, pausing when he notices a second new-comer to the cave. He tenses but recognizes just who it is a moment later. "H-h-h-hello, Huntress-Ma'am," he greets, giving a little wave before looking over towards Batgirl, Spoiler, and Batman.

Huntress nods in greeting, cool as ever. She can see the others, Batman and Batgirl and...

Her eyes open a little wider when she notices Spoiler.

"How?"

"Blackest Night?" Spoiler says, waving at Huntress. "That's what it's being called, right? That's the only reason I can think of. I saw something in a newspaper about it while I was coming here." She looked at the others. "I came here first. Before seeking out my mom or anything. Because, wow, awkward."

While Bruce dealt with the rest of the clan, Kathy slipped out the stairs leading up to Wayne Manor. She'll give Alfred a heads-up before leaving, then head home ( ... )
