"At first light" actually was delayed a few days. Carter hasn't had a lot to do with the JSA in a while. He'd been dead most of that time, but even before, and now after, he's been mostly focusing on St. Roch and his own affairs. Still, this is the one place he doesn't hesitate. He nods to Shiera, and heads straight for the door, rapping on it twice and waiting.

Ma answers the door, smiling broadly. When she sees who it is, her smile turns grandmotherly in a flash.

"Carter! So good to see you again!" She motions for him to come in. "Come in, come in!"

"Thank you, Ma." Carter offers with a genuine smile. "Afraid this is business though. Can you let whoever is on monitor and coms duty know we're here, and need to meet with the JSA? Especially Michael, and any of the mystics around."

On the wall behind Ma when the door opens hiding in her shadow, Obsidian is a little surprised to see Hawkman. The two dimensional hero doesn't let it show though.

"I'll spread the word," he speaks up at Carter's request. Lingering for just a moment, he slides off to gather the others and call for a meeting.
