Garth couldn't be gone, not him. Of all people, why him?
It seemed that they lost one Titan for every one they got back. Joey was alive now, and Garth was gone. He couldn't even imagine how Tula was feeling.
The sadness and pain in Dick's gut gave way to mounting anger that had been bubbling for months now. Good people kept dying while monsters kept cheating death. Dick wanted to cry, but he couldn't find any tears, not now.
Garth wouldn't want tears. He'd want everyone to help Tula and Dick would, but he was also going to do something else for his friend.
He was going to make sure that whoever was responsible for this went down.
He was going to get justice for Garth.

"And Aquaman was one of the one I actually respected a little. The heroes won't take this one sitting down, most likely. Still, they deserve it." he says to himself.
He starts cleaning his guns, readying himself to make his next move.

He'd drifted from Arthur since the Tribunal. But he still knew he'd miss the old grouch.
He'd never gotten to know Tempest that well, but he knew he was a good friend of Wally's. He shakes his head. It's a dangerous job we do. But that doesn't make it any easier when the time comes. Making a mental note to take Wally out drinking, he recharges his ring before heading out.

She couldn't lose another person close to her. She'd already lost her parents, her family, her friends...Arthur was all she had left.
Lorena just sat in her room, hugging her knees close to her, tears streaming silently down her face.

This was one of those times where she'd wish that she'd had seen this happen...so that she might have been able to stop it from happening.
Lilith turned off the television, a single tear rolling down her cheek. She stood up from the sofa, wiping the tear from her eye. Her own tears could wait. For now, she would offer the best comfort to her family, as they had lost another of their own. One who had been very dear to all of their hearts.
