That would be so COMPLETELY cool - even if the script was iffy, I would totally listen to it.

I'd love to say I don't care about the script, but I do . . . a bad script could completely ruin it. But I'd still listen anyway. ; )

Just don't get your hopes up too much - because Barnaby Edwards said on the BF forum thread about this that he's heard nothing about it. And you'd think he'd be a man in the know!

Good point. It sounds like even if it does happen, it won't be for a good long while. But those hopes are so eager to be let loose!

There's been rampaging speculation that Tom coming back as Four is the reason that the Eighth Doctor stories are going back into the main range instead of being a series unto itself. But it's still speculation...

I'm more excited that Louise is interested. It'd be so neat to see Four/Leela back in action.

Of course if Lalla is up for an adventure, I might just wet myself up with squee.

I wouldn't be at all sorry to get a Four/Leela story -- in fact, I'd definitely want to hear it. It's just that I wouldn't be going "Is it out yet? Is it out yet? I want to hear it now now now now NOW!" in the way that I would for a Four/Sarah story.

And a Four/Brig story would be somewhere in between . . .

Maybe we can get Tom, Lis, Louise and Nick all in the *same* story? Because that would be truly awesome.

For me, a Four/Sarah story just isn't the same without Harry. But that's my personal preference.

After the awesomeness that was the Gallifrey series, I'd love to see Tom work with both Louise and Lalla, just to see how Four would put up with the pair. That could be darling.

Sadly, I doubt we'll ever see Tom and Lalla working together again, but setting aside those mundane RL considerations, yes a Four/Leela/Romana story would be wonderful. Has Lalla ever done Big Finish? I don't even know.

And oh, Harry . . . I miss Ian Marter.

I also got more excited about the idea of Louise and Tom back in action. :-D (Sorry!!! I love that Savage.) Well, we'll see, but I wondered after he did the one for the BBC, whether it might start something off.

I'm a little sad though - not about the return of Four, though (although will anyone be able to make Tom behave and, you know, do the script sensibly? Actually, that IS where you need Elisabeth Sladen...), but BF seem to be returning to canon companions a lot this year. And while one in particular has made me very happy, I'm a little sorry, because the BF original companions were so very awesome. They will give us another at some point, won't they? Or use the ones they have? (Evelyn! Charley!)

Evelyn and Charley both have Companion Chronicles coming out later in the year...

And then there's the projected Charley spin-off series...

I knew about the Charley one. I still haven't go through all their audios yet, but that doesn't stop me sulking at the lack of them.

Charley spin off series? Oh, now I get it. I don't want to seem ungrateful, but I think I'd rather have had a Proper Ending. With Eight. Mind you... India is rather awesome.

Well sulking won't do any good...

Yes there's a Charley spin-off series in the works - and how do you know it WON'T have a proper ending with Eight included?? Don't be so pessimistic!
