The exchange student they're housing is polite, friendly, and speaks minimal English. He gets along well enough with Yoochun's mom, but Yoochun's Korean is really poor, so he tries to work with a combination of languages and charades. The basics are easy to learn: his name's Yunho, he's four months older, he has a nice smile. Anything more requires real conversation, so they spend lunch periods on the neighboring elementary school playground with Jaejoong, who turns out to be a chatterbox in both English and Korean, bouncing back and forth to translate.
At home, things are weird but strangely comfortable. Yoochun expands his Korean vocabulary, Yunho helps his mom with dinner, Yoochun teaches Yunho how to play foosball (and gets his ass kicked as soon as Yunho gets the hang of it), Yunho accidentally catches Yoochun half-naked right out of the shower and just mangles a laughing hey, hot stuff, something he must've picked up from the trashy romance movies they've been marathoning to help Yunho study English.
At the end of the two weeks, Yoochun lies in his bed with his pillow hugged to his chest. He's driving Yunho to the airport tomorrow. He knows I'll miss you in Korean but he still doesn't know how to say it.
Yunho shows up at his bedroom door at around midnight, dressed in pajamas, shuffling his feet. They take turns not saying anything; then Yunho makes this kind of annoyed sound, says something in rapid Korean, and just grabs Yoochun's shirt and kisses him.
Huh, Yoochun thinks.
Someone else's tongue in your mouth will always be a universal language. Yoochun has no problems kissing back.
When they're done, Yunho smoothes out the front of Yoochun's shirt like a true gentleman. He looks at Yoochun and says in awkward, sincere English, "I'm new to this country, can you give me a tour of your body?"
Yoochun answers, "Um."
Yunho doesn't seem to get why Yoochun's looking at him like he's speaking Loseranese. "Jaejoong hyung, he said--"
Yoochun groans, pulls Yunho into his room, and promises to destroy Jaejoong after he's finished making out.
