It's not all gloom and doom
I still have a job, a place to live, food to eat, a car, electricity, a phone, a cell phone, internet access, and cable TV. While my social life leaves much to be desired, I'm happy for what I have. It is becoming much more difficult to maintain a good attitude. The next step is to either get a part-time job to supplement my income, or a full time ( Read more... ) -
My current situation
Right now, I am only working 4 days a week, and they are taking 20% of that as well. I would be doing better if they laid me off, I'd make more in unemployment than I do now. Which really sucks. I have to find a new job and possibly a new place to live, if I can. I need to save every penny I can so I will be able to eat and pay my bills. Right now ( Read more... ) -

Work sucks more than usual...
Now at work they're forcing us to take off one day a week without pay. It's not as bad as the 6 people that were laid off, but it's still pretty crappy. To take the immediate sting, they're going to pay out incentive money for the 3rd quarter and October. That will make life bearable for awhile, but if this continues, I'll have to find another job ( Read more... ) -

car accident
I was in a car accident on Saturday morning after going to the club, very close to home. I was rear ended by some vehicle (they didn't stop) and I'm sidelined for the day. Writer's Block: Technology & My Future
It already has impacted my past and present. Let's take one simple example: the iPhone. If you had told me 10 years ago that anyone, let alone Apple would come up with a ipod(what's that?)/phone/gaming/application/GPS/web surfing/email etc. device for any amount of money, I would have laughed at you. Phobia
I have a severe people phobia. I don't know where it came from, but except for a very few people, I have an insane fear of being hurt or killed by others, which is completely based in non-reality. 7 weeks
It's been 7 weeks since I quit smoking. It seems almost like a lifetime ago. Now it's time to enjoy my life again, since I can breathe and don't cough as much as I used to.
