It takes so long sometimes! But there's really no good reason for that. I added an additional member to the ensemble for A Serious Man because she got a supporting actress campaign. Also included: a movie from my Best Ensemble category!

Thinking about this, I wish I had some evidence of prosthetics or some other sort of animal effects on my chosen performers. But we'll just have to make do with the way I do. And meanwhile....is it kosher to immediately recast a Best Picture winner?

These were some fun ones to do. Both cracked my Top 25, of course, with Carey Mulligan even getting a Hollmann Award nomination for Best Actress. District 9, of course, won Best Makeup at my awards....but wasn't even nominated at the Oscars? Villainy!

It's incredible to think that Hag Horror actually had a place of respectability within the film community. It isn't always that an Oscar Winner can also claim Cult Status, but it happens. So before Who Slew Auntie Roo?, Strait Jacket, Night Watch and Berserk!, Hag Horror began with a bang, as well as a question: What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?

Cabaret is probably the best depiction of Germany in the days approaching World War II. The director of the production I was in once went on a rant after a sloppy rehearsal for "Telephone Song", explaining how if our characters didn't get carelessly drunk, then the show doesn't work.
