some years are work years, and some years are payoff years. it sounds like you just went through the former.

while i had no idea a lot of this was going on, i'm glad you got through it, and i'm crossing my fingers that THIS year is better. :)

You are an exceptional person --- you deserve good things. I'm sorry for your tumultuous year. I am very glad you're casting at Prophecy; they are a wonderfully positive and supportive group of people. And sane, really really sane. :)

I think everyone needs a good "check up" (therapy or something similar) every now and then. We do so for our cars, why not our brains and minds? Digging up old stuff can be like coughing up some major phlegm after a bad pneumonia, but you do feel better after. And it does stick. :) And purging those energy suckers from your life is important too. I do a major one at the end of each decade it seems!

Like others have said, some years are just hard, painful years. But I think you've got the right attitude about your job.
