The super cute dog got adopted. I'm not surprised. I guess that if I want a dog, I should work towards being in a good situation to adopt a dog, and the right dog will come along.

I stayed up really late reading (and looking at dogs), but sometimes it's nice to be able to do that. Oh, and I spent a bunch of time reading old journal entries,

We keep all the ashes of all our deceased pets in the entertainment center. It may sound creepy, but we just wanted them to still be with us, as weird as that sounds. We also started the tradition of when a pet dies, we get a very nice ceramic Christmas ornament to represent them. Like the husky dog with the Santa hat one.

They were our babies. We can't forget them.

I have the ashes on one other cat as well. I'm keeping them on the top shelf of a bookcase, and I'm going to put a picture that I have of the two of them up there. Yeah, they're family and I don't want to forget them.
