Woke up with my alarm at 6 AM. The Echo Dot alarm did not sound, sigh. The critters think that this is too early to get up.

Ugh. Zara was out roaming around, and Bella lunged for her. I grabbed Bella. Sigh. Zara took off for her room. I took the puppy out. Now I’m thawing and then will gather the recycling.

It's not easy to meet new people when you move to a new place. In my case it was through the town band, then through a committee I joined. I have five friends here in town now. It only took me seven years!

I’m planning on joining the local Unitarian church to meet people (and also volunteer for community service). I looked at Meetup, but there isn’t much besides a Toastmasters group that I thought about joining. I’m hoping to get to know some people in my choir.
