The anniversary of my mom’s death is also coming soon (April 11th).

My mother's is Tuesday. I already have been sent a photo of my cousin's little girl putting flowers on my parents' grave. Um, yay? I expect to be bombarded with texts and FB messages from people telling me how much they miss her. I know I'm the odd one, but I would rather keep my grief private. Well, other than my LJ friends.

I'm happy to hear that you're loving your kitchen. It looks charming from the photos you posted. How is your upstairs office turning out? (Other than being cold.)

I like the upstairs office, but it is cold (and probably hot in the summer). I bought the space heater to keep me warm. Mimi likes the upstairs and hangs out with me there often. And Zara is smart enough to come up there and find me when she's hungry.
