San Francisco Day 1 Part 1

Hmm. I usually stop first at the AIDS chapel at Grace Cathedral at the beginning of any San Francisco trip, but it opens at 10 AM. My breakfast place opens at 7 AM. So I need to stall for a while.

My hotel is on a great street for people-watching. I saw a really cute guy waiting for my DoorDash yesterday. I guess that I'm seeing the sights :)

ouch, san francisco, books, food, shopping, travel, train trip

Could the bruises be from holding a heavy bag (strap) on your arm?

That could be, and I'm bruising easier because I'm older. According to Dr. Google: "Older adults often bruise easily from minor injuries. Bruises are most common in injuries to the forearms, hands, legs, and feet. As a person ages, the skin becomes less flexible and thinner because there is less fat under the skin. The cushioning effect of the skin decreases as the fat under the skin decreases."

I've never seen that Keith Haring triptych before. How wonderful. And I love City Lights!

The chapel is really lovely and peaceful. And I love the triptych.

I'm really glad that City Lights reopened after it was closed for a while. They have a great selection!
