Back to Chicago When I Retire?
Yay, I got the Jane Austen Pride shirt. And white shorts to go with it. It's chilly this morning, though, so I'm wearing cleaning sweats.

The commercial sounds hilarious!
Before you get excited about retiring in Chicago look into the property taxes in Cook and DuPage counties. That's why a lot of people leave the state when they retire.

I get you when you mention about how difficult it is living with common walls with other people after you've had your own wide open spaces. When I'm in Canada I live in an apartment building and I'm constantly aware of the presence of others, at all hours of the day. Here I love the serenity and comfort of having our own space.
