Italy Next Year?

I was looking at Road Scholar's Independent Trip to Florence for next year, but you can also add an Independent Trip to Venice as well with a train trip. I want to go to Florence in Mom's honor, but I would really, really like to see Venice. So hmm. I emailed my boss and asked her if there would be better or worse times to travel next year because

Wow, the Italy trip is really coming together. I hope you're able to go on the Best of Italy trip. I went to Rome in 2019 (my only travel outside of North America other than Hawaii) and found the city breathtaking. I regretted not expanding the trip, and like you, I would also love to see Venice and Florence some day.

Yeah, I think that I will do the Best of Italy trip. And I recently renewed my passport, so I'm all set!

I have 4 GB my Kindle and a ton of books on it, and I still haven't run out of space. No idea why you would need 64GB. I understand 16GB on Kindle Fire because it's a tablet with apps and stuff rather that just a pure e-book reader, but I genuinely can't imagine how many books you would need to fill up the 64GB on the Scribe.

I'm not sure how much extra space the annotations add though. I'm planning to take copious notes

If you get past the first page, there are good reviews. But apparently their travel insurance leaves something to be desired.

Does your brain get confused between Italian and Cantonese?

Not so far. My brain does get confused between Italian and French though. (I studied French in high school and college.)
