I talked to my advisor, and she thinks that I should continue in the program but keep my professors informed on what's going on and go to their office hours regularly. I just thought of another problem; I'll be bringing both my work and school laptops with me to Mom's house, and I'd have to take them to California with me. Unless I left my work laptop at Mom's house, take that Monday off, and drive up on Tuesday, missing class. Too many moving parts.

OMG! What a mess with those travel plans. Airlines are the only businesses in the world that can get away with such horrible service and charge such high prices and still be in business. They hold us all captive. We have no choice, so we have to ut up with it. Hope you work it all out as best you can.
