I'm Going to Take the California Zephyr!

Mimi doesn't like me doing stuff in the kitchen while she eats. So I guess that I'll sit down.

Went back to bed around 6 AM, and had a hard time getting up at 8. It was close to 9 when I staggered out of bed. And Zara wanted to be fed again!

Made a reservation to board the cats at the vet during the move and over Christmas because I need to go

That is so exciting! I've always wanted to take a train trip. I've been on the Alaska Railroad a bunch of times but you can only sit up on that train. It's not meant for long travels.

When does the move take place?

I took the Zephyr to Reno and back, and absolutely loved it. My fav spots were in Grand Junction and Arches National Park areas. We hit a bunch of cows.

I would consider moving to Grand Junction area but for the steep hills/mountains, posing risk of flooding.

It's really some of the best. I've had only one train ride where it was better.

A good comforter is worth its weight in gold. We had a nice one that got lost in the move somehow, and we miss it terribly.

I bought Brooklinen sheets, pillows, comforter, and a duvet cover, so I hope that they will be nice and soft
