I've Got a House in Urbana!

Persistence pays off: I was approved for the house in Urbana!!!! I'll be very happy there. I've paid the deposit and have an appointment to sign the lease on Monday. And a lot of places are walking distance from the house, including the library and the Unitarian Church! And the Urbana Park District has an indoor pool and yoga and tai chi classes

That houses looks lovely, you are so lucky

It says that the rent estimate is $950 American a month(?). Over here you wouldn't be able to rent a tent for that amount

The rent is $1200.

Compared to the rent prices here in Perth that is still dead cheap by our standards. Even with the currency conversion it's still dead cheap.

I love the house! It's cute and has so much light. There is a desk with a window, and lots of storage in the kitchen. I'm very happy for you!
