Even though we knew it was coming, I'm shocked about the overturn of Roe vs. Wade. I'm too old for it to apply to me directly (plus I'm in a blue state), but I feel for the young people. And who knows where all this will end. Let's hope that it gets out the vote for the midterms.

All those people waving their signs and protesting about abortion. I wonder how many of them would take in a homeless pregnant young woman, and support her through her pregnancy and beyond.

That is EXACTLY what I want to ask those women. Would you pay the mother's medical and hospital bills? Would you give her a monthly check to buy food, clothes, utilities, and a place for the baby to live? No? Wait - you say once the baby is born you don't want it to receive assistance? Then you, my dears, are typical willfully ignorant hypocrites.

Yeah. My aunt is anti-abortion, but when my mom asked if she would provide money to help poor people with babies, she said, "I'm not a socialist." Sigh.
