The Smithsonian travel webinar was fantastic! I took pages of notes. And they covered domestic travel as well as international travel. A couple of notes: Skyscanner is the best Web site for the lowest flight fares. google.com/travel/hotels is the best hotel site, followed by HotelsCombined. Hotel Web sites have the best prices, however.

I joined Choice Hotels a couple years ago. Making my hotel reservations through them is cheaper than any of the hotel sites or AARP.

The hotel is part of DOT Hotels. And yeah, they give a discount to rewards members.

Ask away! This is the 4th time we've been to Memphis, so this time--although we did hit up Beale Street--we did more things off the beaten path. :)
