Here Comes Another Storm

Now they're saying a wintry mix and snow combination on Thursday. I need to get back to the grocery store today (I get paid today.) Now they're saying 3 to 5 inches of snow. I rescheduled my vet appointment on Friday to the following week to have more time to dig out. I'm trying to decide whether to have my mower guy dig me out or not.

We're expecting a storm too. It won't be as cold as what you'll get, but on the other hand, people here won't know how to cope. Apparently we're due for a heavy rain followed by a drop in temperature that will create icy conditions. I don't plan to venture too far from home in the next few days. I hope yours isn't as bad as predicted.

Hope things clear up for Mom soon and none of these procedures are too painful.

I keep hearing about how devastating the storms will be, but it seems like the worst of it will be overnight. I have to work in the office on Fridays and I was hoping to get permission to work from home because of the weather, but while I will probably have a messy commute in the morning, things will clear up by the time I go home. It's supposed to be 60 degrees today and tomorrow, but then once the storm comes through, it's supposed to get cold again - just in time for the long weekend!
