I got up around 8:30 AM. The forecasters are predicting freezing rain today, so it's another day spent cocooning.

Oh hell. Now Sunday is supposed to be as cold as Friday was. The parka can't get here fast enough.

Our good friends took one of the Rick Steve's tours. They seemed to really like it but it was expensive. Strangely enough our bank here has a group that does tours and I am still looking at Road's scholar and Sierra Club tours.

They are expensive but get rave reviews. I'll look at other tours too.

Right, good reviews. And of course it isn't with Rick Steve's himself. At first, I thought they were.

We've considered Rick Steves tours. Specifically for Greece (language), and did consider it for Ireland because of the driving thing. My husband turned out to be brave enough though and it did well.
I love Rick because he's local up here, and does free seminars about the locations, then has travel planners you can book to help plan your own trip.

He has videos about different destinations as well. There's a tour in Italy of villages that I'm considering as well. Though he encourages people to copy his itineraries and do the trips themseves!
