It's going to be a busy weekend. I have my usual homework, plus I want to do some stuff for work to get farther ahead.

However, I need some music in my life, so I signed up for group piano lessons on Lessonface. Why not guitar? Well, some of the fingers on my hand were peeling, and they've just healed, and I think that guitar might rip then up. ( Read more... )

Hooray!

After two months using Piano Pass I finally graduated to a one-on-one piano lesson on Lessonface just this morning. I put out a query and got about a dozen replies, tried the first one with a 15-minute free lesson, and have decided to stick with him for awhile. One of the things he said was that I should stop hunching my shoulders. Well, I was nervous!

I bet you'll enjoy your group lessons. I was in a mix of all ages - there were kids 50 years younger than me!

I used to be able to read music, but I'm rusty. You and me both! Hope you enjoy the piano classes.
