Funeral Day

I woke up around 6 AM and was ready to go around 8. I ran into a snag when I called a cab and was told that only Rosemont cab drivers can pick up in Rosemont. So I asked the front desk to call me a cab. It arrived on 5 minutes and got me to the funeral home.

Personally I find the showings at the funeral home creepy. I don't think they do it here anymore.
Was there a limit about how many people could attend the funeral?

It was a limit of 10 people.

There are some pretty weird taxi rules in the chicagoland area.

I find funerals absolutely exhausting. I don't know if it's because I'm an introvert and that's a lot of peopling, or because of the grief, or some combination of that. My family always does open casket wakes and I HATE THEM SO MUCH. My least favorite part is when people say 'doesn't s/he look natural?' Because I can't very well say 'no, not at ALL'.

Way too many people. I'm not surprised that I collapsed when I got back to the hotel
