Last Day of Vacation

Churned out my long-distance Christmas cards except for the one to my friend Lance. I usually write him a longish note with the card.

I also paid bills. And resubscribed to the digital edition of the The New York Times.

I was tempted to get some of those online subscriptions, but finding the time to read them is my problem. I still have a paper subscription to the Economist (that I plan to convert to electronic when it expires in January) and most of the time it gets skimmed at best.

I got the Economist too for a while, but it was piling up unread. I had the idea that I would use my exercise bike and read magazines, but I haven't been doing it.

I love those flat rate boxes and envelopes. My work commute is .6 miles and the PO is in the middle of it, so I often stop to grab the boxes on my way home after work and them mail them the next night. Anytime I can avoid day hours there is good.
