Woke up around 11 AM, went back to sleep, and woke up around 2. So much for getting up early. The cats have been surprisingly patient waiting for their food. They've cleaned out the dry food. Got us all fed. All's right with the world. The cats inhaled their food.

supposedly, if you put boiling water into a glass for a minute, then dump that out and invert the glass over your butter, it'll soften in about 5 minutes. I've never tried it. I just throw hard butter into my kitchen aid and beat it into submission.

I tried dusting the rolling pin with flour, but the dough still stuck.

Our Walmart was open 24 hours pre-COVID, but now it's been closing early.
