The Big American Library Association listed the hotels for which it has discounts for the Big Library Conference in Chicago this year. I offered to stay at an Airbnb, but my boss wanted me to stay at an official hotel. It's kind of funny how different people look at things differently. Its always nice to get a trip home with someone else paying the bill.
Of course the last time I visited Chicago, I made a big deal of staying downtown for a few days as if showing off my big girl panties, before relocating to the burbs by my Dad for a few days.

What kind of librarian are you? (I went back looking for your intro and can't find it. So clearly my search skills are at a 0 today)

I love wandering around downtown Chicago, especially with no relatives waiting for me to get back quickly. (My mom is still paranoid about my taking the L by myself.)
