Sebastian was born around 12:45-ish, and weighs almost 9 and a half pounds. I talked to Jessi's mom last night, and as far as I know, both Jessi and the baby are a-okay. I had my first day of work today. It was good - I liked everyone I met, and I definitely think I'll be able to do the job well. It's so strange to go to a job that I don't dread in the pit of my stomach. I also don't have to wear a uniform or clock in or run a cash register. Ahhhhhh. It'll be weird at first. But good. I think I might possibly have gotten the internship at Duke, but...I'm not sure. The HR lady emailed me and asked me to call her today, which I did. Five times. And of course she never answered, so I left a message, which I think might have been too informal for a business call. 69. The Lovely Bones - Alice Sebold - This is a novel told by a murdered teen girl. Very vivid voice, and this book stuck with me for several days. Really good, and sad, but manages not to be too dark.

So I'm back in Chapel Thrill (tee hee). I'm a bit sad because I didn't get a chance to see most of my Kentucky friends, but I got lots and lots of family time.
