(no subject)
I had my first day of work today. It was good - I liked everyone I met, and I definitely think I'll be able to do the job well. It's so strange to go to a job that I don't dread in the pit of my stomach. I also don't have to wear a uniform or clock in or run a cash register. Ahhhhhh. It'll be weird at first. But good. I didn't actually do much except tour the library I'll be working in, and follow people around to observe them. I go back on Thursday, and will probably start doing real work then.
On a more frivolous note: I've never watched American Idol in my life, but after tonight I think I might now be addicted. Tan Girl? Crazy Dave? Montage of horrible "Lady Marmalade" covers? What else could I possibly ask for?
