"Oh my GOD, Mindy."

So, uh, randomly? I realized that I never watched any of the commentaries from The Office Season 3?

GUESS WHAT: Mindy Kaling and B.J. Novak bicker hilariously on the commentary to "Safety Training" over whether or not it was appropriate to bring up the hypothetical of Harold Ramis (director) going to an 70s coke party with Bill Murray ( Read more... )

I don't even know why I just got suddenly fixated on them - I think it may have been obsessively trying to track down the Spooks commentaries, which are done 85% of the time by the actors (ACTOR COMMENTARIES = ALSO INFINITELY BETTER) - and, like, I suddenly realized that I had never really watched anything on The Office S3 outside of the blooper reel.

(Isn't it?! It's like - it's perfection. THAT'S THEM. THE MARRIED THEN DIVORCED THEN REMARRIED PARENTS OF MICHAEL SCOTT.)

SRSLY. Greatest commentaries ever have included actors:

- Bones 1x15 WHERE DAVID BOREANAZ CONVINCES EMILY DESCHANEL HER PHONE IS RINGING WHEN IN FACT IT IS ON THE SHOW

- Alias S1 finale, where basically everyone does an impression of Victor Garber

- The Pretender S1 THE ONE WHERE MICHAEL T WEISS AND ANDREA PARKER JOKE ABOUT THE TIME JAROD TIED UP MISS PARKER IN THE FLORIDA EVERGLADES

S. R. S. LY. I really hope that the BSG finale includes a commentary track by the entire cast. It would only be fitting. (UGH, I DARE TO DREAM)
