"Oh my GOD, Mindy."

So, uh, randomly? I realized that I never watched any of the commentaries from The Office Season 3?

GUESS WHAT: Mindy Kaling and B.J. Novak bicker hilariously on the commentary to "Safety Training" over whether or not it was appropriate to bring up the hypothetical of Harold Ramis (director) going to an 70s coke party with Bill Murray.

(Also, he always knows all her favorite parts, and in "The Initiation" he says that Kelly's one random piece of dialogue where she talks about the Lazy Sunday SNL sketch is all because Mindy was a guest writer on SNL. [Which makes me wonder: "Lazy Scranton," epic homage to Mindy Kaling?!])

BLIND AND DEAF PEOPLE CAN TELL THEY USED TO DATE AND BE LOVABLE AND IN LOVE, YOU GUYS. I adore them to pieces.

edit: WAIT WAIT WAIT. Best thing ever?

BJ: Greg [Daniels] had a great metaphor for how Jim and Pam should interact outside, which is that - this is sort of the height of the Jim and Karen relationship, right before Jim and Pam make their final run toward the finale together. And Greg compared this to: Jim and Pam have a kid from their previous marriage, who is Michael Scott... and even though Jim is now with Karen, the new wife, when the kid is in trouble - the kid's on the roof! - the parents just speak the special language. And Karen is left out while they solve The Michael Problem.

MINDY: ...are we allowed to talk about John's hair?

OH. MY. GOD. I love them. (And not just because BJ keeps calling Jim and Pam "the parents." BECAUSE HE AND MINDY ARE LIKE PIE.)
