Okay, I take a break from Doctor Who to, um, watch the last Pretender movie. THAT'S RIGHT, I found "Island of the Haunted" (bantha_fodder is amazing!!!) and... well, I'm going to be completely honest. I went nuts. Insane. Bonkers. OUT OF MY MIND. And made you picspam. Also, there are two versions of Touching Evil, right? Because the one I caught tonight looked...not quite right.

OMG YES WATCH IT. Although I warn you, it's... not that terribly good. it's actually pretty cheesy. But for the first two seasons, Miss Parker smokes and drinks a lot, and during the entire thing she's a total bitch who wears short skirts (and would have probably swore a lot, too, if it wasn't on NBC).

Also, there are two versions of Touching Evil, right?
Yeah!! The original is a Mystery! series (I believe there are... three? I don't know, I've never seen them) with Robson Green, and then a couple years it was remade here in the States. That one, I'm heartily obsessed with and IT GOT CANCELLED BOO.

And yes, cheesy, but you can't look away. Hopefully the tvmovies will be released on dvd soon, they've released the series in record time (s4 out next month). And watching it again I'm reminded that Jarod is quite the little sociopath, not that dissimilar from his brother and Lyle (oh, Red Rock Jarod is the hottest ep).

And she's so gorgeous (I wanted to be her before i wanted to be CJ).

I haven't bought the Pretender seasons DVDs, but I would possibly buy this DVD for this movie because of that near-kiss, which was unspeakably awesome.
