In a perfection illustration of my slow descent into the hell of RPF, I just read on the Internets that some people believe Ben Gibbard wrote the Postal Service song, "Such Great Heights," about Jenny Lewis (of Rilo Kiley fame). I read a review somewhere that called it, "The Happiest Song about a Nuclear Holocaust Ever." And I thought, "Wow that is fucked up." But then I thought, "Yeah, but SO?." Because really, it's a great song.

I KNOW. It's so jarring to actually listen to the lyrics of the song and realize that it's... so not about the happy chords that it's set to. Which makes it hilarious that it was used in a trippyhappy M&Ms commercial a while back.
