I won't lie: I'm exhausted. This took far, far, far too long to acquire, and I don't even think these are sufficient words, but I am going to the opera tomorrow (! fancy), and there's also hipster Doctor Who, so I don't want this to get lost in the shuffle, and YEAH, ACTUALLY I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THE WAY THIS SHOW CHOOSES TO BE. SO.

I'm sorry. :P NO NOT REALLY NOT SORRY AT ALL. ;) No, that central crime plot was a systems overload ep for me, to the point where now I'm like, MATTHEW AND ASHLEY ARE FUCKING WITH ME SPECIFICALLY. BBC HD is airing 3x02 a week from tomorrow (april 12). BBC one will air it on friday as usual. not to worry. :)

i can, pretty much, guarantee crazy ghost dead person isn't sam. one, the body is wrong. two, the hair is wrong. three, sam last wore an officer's uniform in the late 1980s/early 1990s; the uniform on phantom ghost copper is (from my understanding) from the early 1960s.

i'm thinking one DCI gene hunt. he's in a similar situation to sam and alex, but he's been in it for so long he's forgotten his original/past life.
