I believe that there are people connected somehow to the world and have an understanding of the forces that surround the material world.

I believe we all do. It's just a matter of interest, study and practice as to how strong that connection and understanding is.

I agree with this up to a point, because I think there are these people, who have distanced themselves so much from the natural world that they have severed their link and intution as well as gut feelings don't manifest as strongly or at all. :)

No being with a soul can ever 'sever' their link. They can be unaware of it, ignore it, manifest it weakly, but never sever it. :)

Yeah, that makes sense. I guess I phrased myself too strongly, but yeah that is the gist of what I was aiming for. :)
