Loved it! The double entendre of fireworks was brilliant! Great job! :D

A little cliche, but I couldn't resist, it seemed too Eugene, hee. Thanks for reading and commenting. :)

Oh, this is so much fun! I still haven't seen the movie yet (...I know), but Eugene's voice is so distinctive here that I can totally imagine how he sounds. And the way he's trying to repress his sniggers at all the innuendoes is hilarious.

(Also, I solemnly swear I hadn't read your fic yet when I used fireworks as a metaphor for a make-out session in mine, lol. It's probably not a surprising place to go with this prompt!)

Next time you see the little nieces, you should totally pop Tangled in. ;) There's a horse! And a lizard! They'll love it!

Eugene is so funny in the movie--he does voice over throughout--and I just can't imagine writing Tangled fic not in his voice. He's so. much. fun. But he has such a sweet side, too. I'm so pleased you like (but he's impossible not to like).

And yeah, fireworks as innuendo is rather impossible to avoid...Cliches can be fun!

Wiping away a tear, I reply, "I think natural law's pretty well got that covered, Babe."

LOL.

This was really terrific, and I thought you had the characters down perfectly. Well done.

This is currently my kid's favorite movie, btw. I have seen it so many times now, lol.

Thank you so much! I thought I'd outgrow getting crushes on cartoon characters, but apparently I never did? I heart Eugene...

This is one movie I wouldn't mind watching over and over...I've tried getting the Tot to watch a few times, but no luck. But he loves horses now, so maybe I should try it again, lol. (I actually got him to watch Cranford with me the other day because of trains and horses...Costume dramas FTW!)

The Tangled trailer was on a DVD we bought for The Kid, and he was enamored of Flynn (i.e. "that boy, the one who finds the wrong place to hide", lol) that he insisted we get the movie for him.

He's bored by any scene that doesn't feature Flynn, btw. ;)

LOL So funny! But Flynn might object to being called a boy. ;)

I love how you write Eugene. I know I've said it before but it bears repeating. You can see just how much he's attracted to Rapunzel without actually saying it. I also like how you capture not just Rapunzel's innocence but also her curiosity and ability to leap into the unknown. :D

Aw, thank you! I love writing these two, and I'm so glad you think I write them well. :D
