I really must read the books faster so I can get to all the good stuff! I keep picking up little spoilers here and there and OMG, great twists coming!

Anyway, I love this little look at Lyanna. You've written it beautifully, and I felt my heart speeding up along with hers with the anticipation of her running away. Really like the structure of this, too, with the repetition of "There is a moment..." It really creates that heart-pounding, oh-my-god-am-I-really-going-to-do-this? feeling.

What's written about Lyanna is not much; what fans speculate based on the hints dropped by G.R.R.M. is great.
