~Another lackluster (to me) casting has been announced for Zack Snyder’s “Man of Steel”. “Boardwalk Empire” odd-looking-even-next-to-Steve-Buscemi actor Michael Shannon has been cast as General Zod. Quote from Snyder in the press release:
“Zod is not only one of Superman’s most formidable enemies, but one of the most significant because he has

I'm sad that SV never had that sort of fandom who was able to pull one of these things off (and get cast members to show up).
And nice pic of Tommy, which I haven't seen before.

They do turn out in force. That's amazing to me.
Maybe one day, I'll have to drag my sister to one of them for the shits and giggles of it all. I mean, I would love to see all these cast people. They're all fun and witty.
They are great fun. I will hand that to them gladly. They just happen to pick people with their own sensibilities. They're all great fun and so game for these antics.

The latter is the hard part. And I love my SV cast, I do, but I don't know if they would be as entertaining as this lot.

I think I saw it on DTTW.

TOM HARDY!
I'm too much of a lady to write what I want to about that man. Can't "Warrior" hurry up and come out?!

He really is. He needs a nice tribal tat around his calf.

Until I see them in the same picture together I refuse to believe that that's not Michael with makeup and a fake fall. That's Michael in drag. Male and female siblings should not be the spitting image of each other.
As for Robert Sheehan leaving Misfits, don't really care. I found him/his character a bit grating. With the ending they had (now that's what I call a cliffhanger!) it shouldn't be a problem to hire an other actor who can take over the clown role. Love Misfits, very addictive series.
They've hired someone to play a character named Rudi who I think will fit that role.
What season are they in? Wrapping up 2 and going into 3? I wonder if I could get caught up.
I think of giving up watching Supernatural after this season. There's is enough of good tv to watch instead.Without SV as its lead in I may give it up too. I watch it but I don't pay attention to it. Other than Sam now having his soul back I don't know what's going on. I even missed when they killed Crowley. At ( ... )

Season 1 was 6 episodes long/short and season 2 had 7 episodes. Season 3 will probably air come November. Just start watching the first 3 eps or so and if you don't like it by then, there's always season 7 of Supernatural waiting for you. :)

Scary is code from UGLY AS SIN, right? This is what I get for rushing. I meant to complete the thought. Annette's tweet vindicated me because like her the casting has been underwhelming and unimpressive. We disagree in Shannon who she loves and I think he looks like a villain out of a James Bond film, but even uglier.
But I love *you* that you'd still love me even though you'd think I'd be impressed with someone so ugly. He makes Callum Blue looks like Jude Law.

Whenever Hollywood gets ready to dust off The Addams Family they've found their lurch. That's a bit too much character in an actor. He must be really talented because that face isn't what's getting him work.
I don't even remember half of these TV shows. I remember Cosby but the rest...nope.
"The Facts of Life"???? Oh, you have missed out on the best namby pamby TV of the late 70s early 80s. It's where a young George Clooney got his start. "Family Ties", eh. It was good for its time. The Cosby Show is the only one of those that still holds up. Loud sweaters and all.
