I don't get the Zac Efron love. I understand I'm in the minority, but I'm not sure what it is about him that I'm supposed to like. Admittedly, I'm nearing thirty and not really in the 'teen' mould, but I have seen far older woman than me swoon over him. Oh, well. I won't deny he takes a pretty pictures, though.
Good for Mr. Efron:) My friend's daughter asked me to take her to see 17 Again and the Miley Cyrus movie and because I'm evil I said no to both. Besides her mother should have to sit through Miley Cyrus not me, its only fair:) She's going to see the Jonas Brothers live in July with me, I feel that solidifies my good deeds for the year.
I'm in a movie rut these days, since its gotten so expensive to go to the movies, and since my income is still unpredictable i've noticed i've stopped seeing comedies (unless they're indies) in the theater because i figure they translate just fine to DVD and I can wait. But i still love going there and sitting in the dark eating popcorn watching that huge screen, and I'm just sorry i wasted money on Watchmen. Maybe Haunting in Connecticut? I like scary movies big and loud:)
I don't know why i'm rambling in your LJ at 8am, i think i'm just avoiding getting up and starting the day, lol.
He who wears the crown should watch out--Joe is getting ready to claim his prize back.

LOL! She sounds evil for asking you to see it!

That's your good karma for life. Do you know how insane it will be with all of those screaming, panting girls? Do you know how terrible the music will be?? Just don't fall in love with Joe, it's all I ask.
But i still love going there and sitting in the dark eating popcorn watching that huge screen,
To me that's a huge part of the movie going experience. I just want that popcorn. Don't let there be bad popcorn and a bad film because I'd go crazy.
I'm just sorry i wasted money on Watchmen. Maybe Haunting in Connecticut? I like scary movies big and loud:) Awww, was "Watchmen" really a wash for you? I was in the elevator two weeks ago talking

Oh god, i'm trying really hard not to think about it. I'll just buy earplugs, pop a xanax and hope its over soon, LOL.
And fortunately for whatever reason I look at Joe, and Zac Efron too and just see kids, cute kids but just kids, so I can't imagine falling for little Joe. Tom has cured me of my twinky love, lol, He's pretty but so big and manfull that skinny boys just don't work anymore.
I told him my boss thought it was right up there with "The Godfather" and another guy in the elevator--a complete stranger--chimed in and asked, "Has your boss seen "The Godfather?" There's so much disappointment about "Watchmen". I'd ask the same question, As a teen i could recite the Godfather, i almost feel like coming there and kicking your boss for saying that, lol. I've read Watchmen, and I think i was expecting more? I don't know, it

I told the guy, "Maybe he meant "Godfather 3" but yes for some reason my boss thought "Watchmen" was that good. Odd.
I think i was expecting more? I don't know, it was a little B-movieish or something, i don't even know what it was, but it was long and uneven to me, and my friend looked at me after it was over and said "theyre kidding right?" So...yeah, won't be renting that one.
It was really uneven in tone IMO. Snyder was going for gritty but I kept laughing at those horrible song choices he used: "Hallelujah" during the sex scene (which was ridiculous) and "Ride of the Valkryies" in another. It took me out of the moment.
I didn't like any of th X-Men film. I'm in it for Jackman and Henney. I'm easy that way.
Have you seen "The Changeling"? I heard that was really good.
I stumbled on the show when I was channel surfing and the waves are puny when I channel surf (no cable, heh) and started watching. I couldn't care less about football; but I really like this show. Like The Big Bang Theory, they manage to escape a lot of the stereotypes and cliches about the subject.
Man, I am old. I don't give a cloven hoof about any of the teen heart throbbers. And I like Pretty Boys.
I say yes because the CW closed their comedy division and were getting out of traditional comedies. Today there is an article in Variety about the plan of "The Game"s creator to change the show's format to an hourlong dramedy which is what "Privileged" is. I don't know if Dawn O will go for it.
"younger" and "far less urban". What is "far less urban"? Suburban? Strip Mall? Across the railroad tracks? How much do I love code? CW hasn't been "urban" in years.
I used to watch The Game all the time. I haven't in forever, though.
I stopped watching it because it was always against something I watched. It still is (I watch "The Sarah Connor Chronicles", but they reair shows on Sundays and that's how I got back into it. It's really better than it was in the first season or two.
I am dying to see A Haunting in Connecticut. It looks good. Plus, I love me some Kyle Gallner.
It's a decent little ghost story. And Kyle...Kyle is just perfect.
I really want to see 17 again. It has a good cast.
It's good. I think people who see it will enjoy it.

I am torn about which one is the worst obsession. This is hard. Like "Sophie's Choice" hard.

Good to know that "17 Again" is worth watching, though. I can't wait! :)

Why is he always tanned? In the film he's bronzed and everyone else is a natural tone.

It's cute. I can't bag on it. Dammit.

But, but...Joe Jonas' eyebrows!!

Additionally, an hourlong "Game" wouldn't necessarily mesh well with CW's other dramas, which are skewing younger and far less urban,
