I don't get the Zac Efron love. I understand I'm in the minority, but I'm not sure what it is about him that I'm supposed to like. Admittedly, I'm nearing thirty and not really in the 'teen' mould, but I have seen far older woman than me swoon over him. Oh, well. I won't deny he takes a pretty pictures, though.

By the time HSM 3 rolled around, my 12 y/o was over him...but she's currently into the sparkly no-fang vamps.

I am torn about which one is the worst obsession. This is hard. Like "Sophie's Choice" hard.

And even though both kids stated the movie sucked ass, they both still want to see the second one

Every time I see behind-the-scenes set photos of the cast working on "New Moon", a piece of my soul wizens and dies.

When my niece (who is a huge "Twilight" fan and I admit to being her dealer and buying her a TWilight tote bag and t-shirts and buttons) refuses to get off the phone with me I just start talking about Jacob and his terrible weave and how ugly Edward is and that spurs her to hang up the phone.

dancing, singing, nonacting vs. sparkly, no fangs-poisonous teeth, nonacting

Gah, so hard. The "singing" and dramatic dancing of HSM kills me, but nothing beats wooden dialogue and tepid delivery and stupid ass vampires who sparkle in the daytime.

So hard to portion out my hate on this topic.

I don't think you're in the minority at all. I do not get his appeal. He looks like one of those porcelain dolls.

but I have seen far older woman than me swoon over him

A woman behind me, easily in her forties, was going crazy for him. Every time he'd strike a pose she'd fall out.
